For years the Warriors have been snubbed from the All Star team, their talent ignored by ignorant voters. In 1997 Latrell Spreewell was the last Warrior to make the All Star team. Last season David Lee broke the cycle of a Warrior-less All Star game. But arguably our best player, Stephen Curry was nowhere to be found. He reacted with a 54 point effort at Madison Square Garden, a broken NBA 3 point record and then led the Warriors to the Western Semis. Some of us said not only did Steph deserve to be on the All Star team, he deserved to start. Well today that happened. Steph Curry will start for the Western backcourt along with Kobe Bryant (who most likely won't play) and becomes the first Warrior to do so since 1995. (Spreewell holds that honor as well.) Sure there have been injuries to West conference guards but that doesn't mean he doesn't deserve it. I can guarantee that he'll be back. All I can say is, about damn time!
